A fair, transparent, and responsive institutional mechanism to redress academic, evaluation, hostel, and administrative concerns for all students and scholars.
Scope of Matters Addressed by SGRC
Students can file formal grievances regarding any irregularity, delay, or discrimination across institutional domains.
Academic & Clinical Matters
Issues related to clinical posting rotations, attendance record discrepancies, library access, or syllabus coverage.
Evaluation & Examinations
Internal assessment marks transparency, conduct of semester unit tests, practical viva grading, or result queries.
Hostel & Campus Amenities
Mess food hygiene, hostel room maintenance, RO water facilities, bus transport schedules, or sports grounds.
Administrative & Fee Accounts
Scholarship processing, caution deposit refunds, fee receipts, or issuance of character/transfer certificates.

4-Stage Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Every logged grievance is tracked with an official docket token and resolved within strict regulatory timelines.
Docket Registration
Student submits grievance online or in-person. Unique tracking Docket Number issued within 24 hours.
Preliminary Review
Member Secretary verifies facts, collects departmental feedback, and schedules committee hearing within 5 working days.
Hearing & Natural Justice
Committee reviews grievance, hears the aggrieved student, and delivers fair recommendations within 15 days.
Appellate Appeal
If student is unsatisfied with decision, an appeal can be preferred directly to the University Ombudsperson within 15 days.
