Anti-Ragging Cell & Committee
In accordance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and UGC regulations, Devsthali Vidhyapeeth College of Nursing maintains a strict Zero Tolerance Policy towards ragging on campus and in hostels.
Prohibition & Strict Penalties
Ragging in any form—whether verbal, physical, psychological, or through digital means—is a criminal offense. Any student found guilty of ragging or abetting ragging will face immediate and exemplary disciplinary actions, including:
- Immediate suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
- Withholding or withdrawing scholarships, fellowships, and other benefits.
- Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national, or international meet, tournament, or youth festival.
- Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution for a specified period.
- Filing of a First Information Report (FIR) with the local police station for criminal prosecution.
How to Report an Incident?
If you are a victim of ragging or witness any such activity on the campus or hostel, report it immediately without any fear. Your identity will be kept completely anonymous and protected.
Inform Committee Members
Contact any member of the Anti-Ragging Committee or Squad immediately. Squad members monitor the campus, hostels, and labs 24/7.
Drop a Written Complaint
You can drop a written, unsigned/signed complaint into the dedicated Anti-Ragging Complaint Boxes installed near the administrative block and hostels.
